I watched True Romance just now. I believe I may be in the minority here, but I don't know if I really agree with the soundtrack here. It almost made it feel a little too sappy for my liking at times. I also appreciated Reservoir Dog's contribution to the classic Mexican standoff more than this movie, even if it was much more subdued in comparison.

Perhaps it is the mark of being more of a 2000's kid than a 80's/90's kid, but I enjoyed the silliness in Kill Bill much more than True Romance as well. To me, it evokes a similar tone in my mind as how I perceive children's movies of that era even with the language and violence of this one.

Don't know; definitely didn't hate the movie or think it was boring, and maybe I just don't appreciate aspects of the film like I should, but the movie didn't connect with me, fully. To be fair, this was a movie that Tarantino did not direct, and he did have a different vision for this film if he had it his way.

Next up is Pulp Fiction. I have high hopes for this movie.
