| Topic | As a Kill Bill fan, I am watching all of Tarantino's films finally. |

Going to stick to the movies that Tarantino had direct writing credits for the screenplay for now, but the title alone makes it sound fun. @Phoro Thank you for getting me to watch Four Rooms. I don't know if I have really watched all too many Anthology films to be honest, and right before I watched, I saw the rotten tomatoes reviews, and thought I might have been tricked into watching a horrendous movie. Admittedly, the first two segments were not the best to me, but the last two were great! I'm debating if I preferred "The Man from Hollywood" or "The Misbehaviours" more, but the final scene was fantastic! Ted's walk to the elevator was so good; found myself laughing quite a few times during the last two segments. I don't know if maybe Anthologies aren't as favored by critics or if it was maybe weaker segments that made them look down on the movie as a whole, but I'm a little surprised how low it is reviewed. Next up is From Dusk till Dawn. This movie will be 2/2 of feature-length movies that Tarantino had written the screenplay, but not directed that is on my list to watch. I did not know that this is actually a horror movie too it looks like, according to what I'm seeing on wikipedia? Thought Death Proof was the only horror he did, so I'll have to get myself in the zone for this one. I'm not really a horror fan because I'm a big scaredy-cat, but I'm sure I'll push through. I like the poster for it. --- Number of legendary 500 post topics: 37, 500th posts: 35; PiO ATTN: 6 RotM wins 1, LETTEN MY ARROW FLYEN TRUE ... Copied to Clipboard! |
