The worst thing about the Tuvix episode is that it's not a DS9 episode because I think that exact same premise with the continuity that show had would have made it a top five episode of DS9.

If Janeway and the crew had had to wrestle with their decision and inaction, it would have been incredible. As it is, it's just another instance of Voyager's "what might have been" problem.

IIRC, this isn't even true. I believe the episode says Tuvix is adequately fulfilling both Tuvok and Neelix's positions on the ship.

Which frankly is probably just an indication of how Neelix does absolutely fucking nothing but hey.
