Im leaning toward iso alcohol. Goo Gone has been suggested, but that stuff is so corrosive I feel itd eat right into the data layer. I like it for disc cases and other hard surfaces, but tend to avoid it on anything paper or sensitive.

Iso tends to be a lot more tolerable on most surfaces. But less effective, as a result.

I would also try Undu, but some were saying dont use lighter fluid. I dunno test another disc is winning but I have quite a few junk CDs it couldnt hurt to try the stuff on first. So Ill definitely do that. Undu is great for paper surfaces though. I much prefer it to Goo Gone for that.

I would think that Goo Gone wouldn't affect the data from the top side of the disk? Am I mistaken? (Unless of course you accidentally get it on the bottom side.)
It might remove the design on top the disc though. Wouldn't shock me in the least.
