It is more common and natural to forgive them and try to move past them. I had several good memories of him and happiness. It is ENTIRELY unrealistic to expect someone to immediately bin their family member over negative incidents that weren't intended to be malicious. It IS natural to forgive your family when you have good memories of them. It's not like he took me to the movie ON PURPOSE with the intention of hurting me.
