A man who slept on campaign on the bare ground, wrapped only in his cloak. His hardiness, an inspiration to his troops. None of this in anyway reflects Cadet Bonespurs of course. The thinking is more towards Julius as Dictator. His flirtations with the trappings of the deposed Kings, and the limits of his term as dictator. Everything resonates, challenging his term limits, Xcrement posts where he has a crown, it is all the same. You might not recognise it, but I do, and so do Steve Bannon and Steven Miller. I recognise it because I love history, they emulate it because they love that history. Once Europe and the Near East was a patchwork of city states, each with varying degrees of representation, and a constitutional crisis all their own. Then Rome came, all fell under it's sway, until the great men owned so much, they bought the state itself. You're at this point, and your Julius constantly seeks to see if you'll let him have his crown. I suspect he'll fail, but an Augustus will crown himself without you realising it, just as Octavion did. --- System error, signature not found. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
