it's fine. You can admit it. Beer is awful. You, like so many other men at some point in their life were curious about beer. You took your first sip of that watery, bitter, amber liquid and recoiled in disgust.

"but I am a man," you think, "and men are SUPPOSED to like beer. It has always been that way throughout history."

So you kept drinking. You drank until your taste buds became numb and adapt to its yeasty bite.

"Aha!" you proclaimed in your secured masculinity. " Looks like I finally acquired a taste for beer!"

yet still, upon every night alone, you look down upon other with a wistful envy.

"I'll take a beer." with a sadness behind your eyes while you hear other women and gays order their exquisite sparkling grape juice and tequila infused slushies.

"This is how men are suppose to be," you try to convince yourself.
