It's just popular online to prefer NV despite it having less deep factions ahahahahAHAHHAHAHAHHAH Yeah it doesn't help that the faction questlines in NV are 80% identical. NCR quests are about 30% of the vanilla game's content, the Legion only has about 5 sidequests and the other two factions have none.
