You are blaming the general audience who are being supportive when it's clear at this point that it's 99% a problem with the idol community having extremely toxic view of relationships. No amount of time is ever going to solve that. It honestly is a bit more effective to show these people that they're the clear minority and they're the ones in the wrong. Silence is an extremely weird and flawed way to go about solving a problem inherent in a community that Japanese people like to employ, but if you look at it from a further perspective, it's no different from just closing your eyes and ears and making noises til the problem goes away lol. It doesn't work and is an incredibly childish way of thinking about societal problems

The problem with this mindset that it really doesn't take into account what the talent in question is going through. Like this works out if the talent really does in fact have a boyfriend or whatever, but what if they don't? The talent in question now has to deal with a group of people who claim to be fighting for them by saying they are happy they're in a relationship, but that sort of thing would be pretty stressful for someone who is only friends with someone. At this point people are no longer caring about the wellbeing of the talent, but using them for whatever change they want, regardless of intentions.

Like yeah, there's issues with idol communities, but it's really not fair to try to use someone who hasn't actually consented to be used like that.
