It isnt something that happens all of a sudden. It generally starts with little bad choices being noticed here and there. My dad started making small bad choices in his 70s, by his 80s they were more common than not and in his 90s his mind was gone. Thats dementia progressing over 20+ years. This man was in his 70s.
