Topic	It makes no sense to me that the Empire loses in Star Wars.

The ST was approached in a flawed manner, designed around speed of output and nostalgia. Changing the focus to existing Legends books wouldn't have saved it. Disney didn't need to use the entire EU. They could have cherry picked the best parts. I still do not understand just throwing away the whole thing. They did.
