Its actually wild how kind of little nurses make. Like yes its a good paying gig but not nearly as much as it should be (at least up here and I think down there).
a contract care aide makes the same or more as an lpn who isn't working through an agency.

That said I'd say agency rate should be minimum for care aides then nurses should make even more as the baseline.

You can get on with a company who pays 7 to 15 more an hour plus travel and accommodation and food allowance... and they profit off doing that.

Working for a facility directly is... just dumb unless you really can't get by on a 3 to 6 month contract basis for some reason. Stability I get but also... like you don't even have to move the way things are here right now.
