Topic	I thought filler in DBZ was an exaggeration
dameon_reaper 04/12/23 11:38:27 AM #21:	I can honestly see why the series needed padding. The manga moves really fast and there's not much to pad it with. Its not like Detective Conan which is more or less episodic or One Piece where there's a lot more going on than the fight. They at least have multiple fights going on. For Dragon Ball Z, you have that fight and so you have to do a lot to stretch it. One Piece was doing fine until a few years ago when they started summarizing the episode before it in the beginning of the episode along with the super opening.
