Topic	Could multiple TV shows come together for a season and be successful?

The story would be simple and uninteresting and because there are so many characters on screen at the same time you can't give anyone enough focus. Ahhh, I worded it poorly. What I mean is all the characters coming together in the story. And then each show showing THEIR OWN characters and their point of view. Not literally turning into a single show.
