My take on this is that the only definition of cheating that matters is doing anything in a sexual/romantic way that you feel the need to hide from your partner because they would disapprove and/or feel hurt and betrayed.

For some people that's as little as checking out a hot girl in a bar, and for others that could be as much as not giving the heads up when you're going home with someone else. When you start to pick this stuff apart the actual social rules are fairly arbitrary and only matter to each couple.

I think for the most part most people are not concerned about watching porn because it doesn't constitute any betrayal - i.e. it was implicitly understood to be an ok thing in the relationship beforehand.
