That's a fair point. My point was more that a white person not being of greek culture seems only to matter when using it to justify why they are just as qualified as a different race, but if I said my company was diverse because it had greek, german, english, etc people... I would be accused of being full of shit for calling an all white group diverse. It's the double standard that gets to people, and less so that a fictional character is being changed to a different race. We all know that happens all the time. It's being told "this change is good/fine, but if you change a black historical character to a white one that's bad" where people tend to get upset.
