Topic	If everyone wants 'thing' legal, why is it still illegal?

I had three cups of coffee this morning and was still able to operate a vehicle. If I smoked three blunts I would have been fucked. Both have proven medical benefits, both have proven medical issues. The impairment aspect alone makes the mere suggestion that cannabis is safer than coffee absurd. Keep in mind, I'm in favour of legalization.
