Honestly if I saw a resume like that pop on my desk I'd either assume it was spam or just someone being a know-it-all. Just use English, you don't get weaboo points for trying.

But the thing is, it's not like this is the first thing that shows up. It's my personal info, three jobs, my actual college, and then this place. It's just one little blip under the education section. It's not supposed to be the focal point of why you should hire me, but rather just a little asterisk that might get you to do a double-take.

Given the hundreds of resumes people see on a daily basis, a double-take is far more preferable than the lazy-eyed gloss-over


But what does it add? Don't think that "eye-catching" is necessarily a desirable trait if eye-catching is potentially obnoxious.
