...But, like the U.S. population in general, most of them are white, straight, Christian, native-born, and never been accused of a crime or gotten personally shaken down by asset forfeiture schemes. All that stuff never has a negative impact on them personally.
While as increasing taxes to pay for safety net programs does directly affect them.

They literally don't want safety programs either way. It's not a matter of programs benefiting them. And the rest is just outright falsehoods. Libertarians are AGAINST civil forfeiture, for starters. As for religion, Democrats are as likely (or more so) to be Christian than Libertarians.

Also, it's ironic that you tout "selfishness" when it comes to people not wanting to part with their money but not for people who want to take other peoples' money so they don't have to work.

Ok, you didn't understand the words that I typed, so I'll break it down for you.

When I was listing stuff that Libertarians don't really speak up about nearly as much as they do taxes, like asset forfeiture and the unconstitutional treatment of the accused, because it doesn't affect most of them....I'm saying they're against those things (otherwise why would I be mentioning them) and am only highlighting those issues to demonstrate the clear discrepancy in priorities all these right-leaning libertarians have. Being taxed "heavily" is a bigger issue to them than that stuff, based on their voting record.
When I said "While as increasing taxes to pay for safety net programs does directly affect them," it meant "negatively affects them." Anyone with basic reading comprehension or lacking a complete desire to try and misrepresent the statement would know that, so I'm not surprised you failed to.

While no pure libertarian (not many people are 100% "pure" towards an ideology), I consider myself fairly strongly libertarian-leaning, though mostly on the civil liberties side of things. Because....however hysterical you get about being "screwed by the government" for having to pay more in taxes, that doesn't even come close to...say...never being charged with a crime yet having all your cash stolen and having to go to court to fight to get it back, or having a DA looking to build a tough on crime rep putting an innocent man behind bars for 20 years.
Your pal trump is a big fan of civil asset forfeiture, btw. Obama was trying to reform it at the federal level, but Trump's administration has undone all of that: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/07/sessions-forfeiture-justice-department-civil/534168/
