Not exactly. Rousey was great, so was Lesnar. What has Punk done in UFC that would make him great? He hasnt won and has looked bad in both of his fights.

My point is that both Rousey and Lesnar came to the WWE after their time at the top in UFC ended, so if you want to think UFC affects WWE kayfabe, WWE has already firmly established that a past their prime UFC star is better than any pro wrestler. Punk getting his ass handed to him doesn't really matter much.

Still wrong. Rousey and Lesnar both had time at the top of UFC, and were both established UFC stars at one point before dropping. Punk was never a UFC star. He was never on top. He was always on the bottom.

If you want to think this helps pave the way for a triumphant WWE return for Punk where he gets Lesnar or Rousey treatment you can, but that doesnt mean that its likely, especially after the way he left and the way he gets his ass handed to him in UFC. Look at how other UFC people are in WWE. Isnt Sonya Deville or however her name is spelled a former UFC or MMA person? Punk would be a lot more like her if he ever returned, because she was never a huge deal in the MMA world. If Punk hadnt made a name for himself in wrestling he probably wouldnt have even got a shot in UFC. Thats not a star. Thats just a guy. Hes the UFC equivalent of Curt Hawkins.
