I figured a birth certificate is something doctors would have access to. If I'm wrong on that then I retract my statement.

Edit: to clarify that's the digital records of the physical certificate. The alternative would be having your birth sex on your personal identification or something a person is likely to have physically on them.

Or you could make sure doctors have access to medical records
