I think it's safe to say that this comic won't sell very well unless it tones down the hyper-political tone. There's allegory (Mutants = Minorities) and then there's "Haha, take that, BIGOT!" and the difference is in the quality of writing. The former is smart and can change the views of people who don't realize their views are being changed; the latter usually ends up being a string of pot-shots taken by a hack who wants to sling insults and tout his/her/their political opinion.


Great post & I agree completely.

The problem isn't necessarily the message, it's the overbearing tone & how poorly some of the writing has been done.
