The cast is largely unlikable, and I even find Bill Murray's character a bit of a whiff in comparison to most of his other roles. 80s comedy rarely leaves me feeling numb - either it's great or it's terrible. Caddyshack is a rare "eh" film for me. Maybe I just don't like gold enough.
