Authentic to what?maybe authentic to southern culture? for all we know the restaurant's owner is from the south. i can see why everyone's upset, i'm just saying that there could be more to this, especially if the owner of the restaurant was white and they just thought "ok, black people love waffles" or some shit. maybe the owner reached out to them? there's tons of questions left unanswered but this is a videogame message board so it's pointless to speculate. like, for example, if i'm visiting california and someone claims their restaurant to be "authentic chicago style pizza" but the owner is from oklahoma (nobody is from california, ok?) then i 100% would not consider their pizza to be authentic whatsoever. green day might as well be an authentic punk band with that logic. --- we provide the fireworks, you do the oohs and aahs. ...
