I'm not sure why people would rather settle for evil over voting for 3rd parties

As someone who voted 3rd party (Gary Johnson; my state wasn't even close to being a "battleground" so my vote literally didn't matter), voting 3rd party simply isn't an option for many people. And the only time it is an option is when your vote doesn't matter anyway.

That's thanks to our first past the post voting system and electoral college.
One party has shown tepid interest in fixing the former and large interest in fixing the latter.
The other party does everything it can to prevent either from being fixed and actually making 3rd party voting viable.
Guess which one you should be voting for if you give even the slightest actual damn about 3rd parties?
