They'd come back and immediately ask where I'd been, and when I explained that I'd been here like always they'd say they didn't see my car in the lot so they went somewhere else. The extra overtime pay isn't huge, but every little bit counts. And it's not like it's an overly complicated or stressful job. I get to spend half the shift on the internet or gaming, after all. Which is pretty much just what I'd be doing if I was at home. I can't file for unemployment until I've actually lost the job next week anyway, and I've already started getting my resume together and looking to apply for other jobs.
