I didn't see her as a whiner so much as someone who really did get the shit end of the stick a bunch and kept one foot in front of the other in spite of that. She was simply aware of that. Some people really do seem to have everything happen to them. I used to say there are three kinds of people, those who make things happen, those who have things happen to them, and everyone else who watches.
