Different people have different desires, different relationships work for different people. I'm not sure how that is such a foreign concept to you. I know of two couples in open relationships that have been together for years and they are some of the strongest relationships I know of. The fact that this is anecdotal evidence is enough to me to know that you're wrong. You can take from this what you will as your opinion on the matter is completely irrelevant to me.
