Oot 64 had a better aesthetic, something going on in the colors in the 3DS version makes it look too...bubbly? Idk an ideal compromise would be to just take the N64 version and mod a few of the 3DS qol stuff into it. >_> though actually the ideal thing would be to remake both games using a modern graphics engine for consoles. Mario All Stars redid all the games into 16 bit.
