Is it just me or do they swear gratuitously in that show in lieu of actual comedic writing? Why does everybody swear like a sailor? Some of the characters are stuck on sarcastic prick mode, which makes them unlikable and every scene they're in tedious. I couldn't get into it. I don't understand the humor and I don't like any of the characters.

I mean, how can you not love Eagly?!!!

Seriously though, I really didn't like the father in the first episode and that was making me iffy on the show, and I didn't like peacemaker in the movie, but most of the other chars grow on you and by the third show the humor was obvious and it started to work (I was enjoying it by the second show honestly). Now I get it, at first I was like meh this is a pretty bad superhero show (and I generally don't like superhero shows without any powers), but eventually I realized it's not a superhero show at all, it's a freaking comedy, and it's funny as hell. It's a parody of a superhero show and it's great.
