I'll be honest -- I would probably be bigger on this one if I hadn't seen Deadshot's Super Move from Injustice 2, which is better in pretty much every way. No individual thing in this move is cool except the sword kick... which could have been REALLY cool. My issue, and this might sound nitpicky, is that the sword is lodged in the enemy's chest... and then it isn't. It just vanishes. Not even in a puff of smoke. It's simply unacknowledged. That ruins the entire flow of what should have been a stuck landing.

And it also should have been the landing. You don't just kick a sword into someone's chest, then use generic uzi spam to complete the move. That distracts from the fact that you just kicked a sword out of midair into a dude's chest. That's metal as hell, and it should have been the signature at the end of the paper.

This move had one great idea, did it pretty well, then fucked up everything surrounding it. The transition between the sword throw and the kick should have been flashier, not just boring pew pew. The sword kick should have taken the stage. That sword also should have gotten back to Deathstroke somehow -- either by Deathstroke doing one last blow that retrieves the sword, or at the very least a visual effect popping the sword back to him. So many opportunities, Netherrealm, and so many missed. At least you got it right the second time around.
