Anyway, I like the dilemma 6-6 puts Phoenix in with the possibility of having to accuse Sorin of killing Gloomsbury to protect Ellen despite her protests. Of course, they don't actually follow through with it and the case has a happy ending, but the scenario is interesting.

Also, I'm thinking I know why the non-Takumi games have fewer lines despite being longer: The assistant doesn't chime in as much. I'd wager that these newer games have a higher word count proportionate to their length, but the protagonist (Edgeworth especially in AAI) tends to dominate conversations. In investigation segments in the OT, Phoenix and Maya were usually fairly close in line counts (Phoenix would dominate during trials because the assistant contributes far less often). I even remember a segment in 2-3 where Maya had a higher line count than Phoenix, which I think is the only time in the series the playable character didn't have the most.
