Things You Should Probably Know First, I am the bad type of furry. I typically restrain myself outside of roleplaying topics, but since this is my own topic, I kinda do whatever I want. If you're deeply bothered by arbitrary roleplaying tirades or tail wagging, you'll probably walk to click topic list and get out of here before it gets weird. It doesn't happen often in this topic, but it does happen a few times, and you are hereby warned. Second, songs are placed wherever I want them to be placed, with no scoring systems or attempts to be objective. While I did spend a lot of time working on the final placement, don't expect much in the way of internal consistency or logic. Third, don't expect quality write-ups. Multiple songs only get one word and those with longer write-ups tend to only be tangently related to whatever the original topic was. For example, at the Mega Man Song Ranking Topic, one write-up for a Classic Mega Man song devolved into a "why I hate Thin Lizzy and their fans frighten me" speech and I have no idea how I got onto that topic. It seemed to make sense at the time? ...not that you should expect write-ups to go that random either. There are no standards or quality control, nor any attempt to force random insanity. I just typed whatever I wanted to. *shrugs* Fourth, even if I truly dislike a song, please don't take that personally. I wanted to experience new things, so if you found something I truly hated, then I can honestly thank you for the experience. Also sometimes it takes a while for music to grown on me. While The Protomen's Act II is easily my favorite album of all time now, I actually disliked most of the songs on my first listen--it took a deep commitment to listening to the songs, reading all the notes, consulting other people's reactions, and seriously thinking about the album as a whole until I truly got it. Obviously, I did not have time to give this level of dedication to 200 different songs; if I give a bad ranking to one of your songs, you can safely assume that the problem is with me and that I'd learn to appreciate the song if I had more experience with the genre, artist, album, or whatever. Fifth, there's no topicality here and you are free to do whatever. If you want to try to hijack the topic and rank all 200 songs yourself, you go for it. Frankly, I just wanted to listen to a bunch of different songs and talk to myself, so it's pretty much impossible for anything you say or do to interfere with my enjoyment.
