And I wasnt that into it, so I was never particularly interested in watching the anime. The story and characters were solid, just not anything remarkable. Sometimes I wonder if the anime did something to make it vastly superior, but honestly Im not that interested in finding out. people really like the style and animation of the anime but yeah, the story is nothing special at all.
