I have relatives in NJ who have been in and out of and in the hospital due to medical fuck-ups. Depends on the hospital, I'd say. I've been in some of the most advanced hospitals in the world for their particular field of medicine, and I've been in some run-down butcher shops where you assume they're absolutely going to screw something up. It also depends on if you're talking long-term low-grade care or higher-level stuff. There's definitely a scale of service. But I'm not just talking about medical support when I recommend most people leave the South.
