I think Houston's pitching staff can keep Boston's lineup down way way way better than our pitching staff can keep theirs. Cleveland was an incredible team and had a great year and improved themselves at the deadline and their season was basically just erased with Balefire by the Astros.

Realistically it's hard to see the Sox winning because of those Price/Cole games. Price is going to have to be a hero, or the lineup is going to have to go nuts, or we're just going to have to win some strange game (which the team seems to keep doing). Like some random Sandy Leon 2 HR game that makes no sense, or the Astros keep leaving guys on base the way the Yankees did. Being pragmatic I just think Houston wins in 6 and we try to figure out how to make David Price opt out. Being optimistic, we split Verlander games, get to Keuchel because this lineup can be configured to crush lefties, Porcello is rolling like 2006 Jeff Suppan, we split Sale/Verlander, lose the Price games, and it's all hands on deck with a rested Eovaldi that only needs to go 3 IP followed by a little Porcello and Sale.

So let's say Astros in 6 or Sox in 7. I think Game 2 and 3 mirror the ALDS where the teams took turns looking way better than the other one.

I'll say it's a coin flip and pretend the bullpen isn't full of arsonists and fault pacemakers.
