Topic	Is this just a Canadian thing, or do other people do it too?

Teh prairies, IE: Real Canada Bizarre, because I grew up in Alberta and, again, never had those experiences. Pop was "pop", not Coke (unless you were actually ordering a Coke) and mac and cheese was not Kraft Dinner unless it was the instant kind. He's full of it in many things including this.
