Baseball is kind of struggling to get new fans and it would be a disaster if they organized a team to lose. The most they'll do is have an umpire crew that somehow benefits LA but even then... a shred evidence gets out and MLB is a joke and LA is a joke, etc. If it even becomes a legit whisper among owners, that becomes a huge, huge problem.
