RDR is definitely the best story they've ever told, but the bar for that is not set high. I play Rockstar games to fuck around with the world, and RDR is....... decent with that? I recall having a blast lassoing people and dragging them around on my horse a lot. Beyond that, the stuff I remember most fondly is that guy on youtube that kept getting glitched people in his game, like that amazing donkey lady video. In GTA5, I spent a good hour one time walking down the sidewalk, then jumping into moving cars in front of cops so they would pull the driver out and kill them. I loved hijacking bulldozers and picking up other people's cars and driving them down the road. There's just so much you can do to fuck with the rules of that game's world. I spent mutliple full days doing stupid shit that didn't make me any money or progress anything in the game whatsoever, just to make myself laugh, and it was a blast. And you could do a lot of that stuff online with friends.
