He doesn't need to beat Diablo, he just needs to make him weakened enough that your team of mid tiers can be competitive with the team. I feel like it would generally work out assuming the free agency has some competent men. At least in mid. I'm skeptical it would be enough in paying a 5 to low or a 6-7 to low. Maybe with the right ability use but you only get 1 AP. You might also want to supply this with giving 1 AP per unit brought-- then at least in low you could slam 6/week buydown with like 3 abilities. --- No problem!
