Comic Hawkeye is so much cooler/more expressive. As has been pointed out in the past, he literally grew up in a circus, and picked up on con-man/carney lingo and patter to the point where he's actually saved the entire universe by essentially running the shell game con on the Grandmaster. He was the hotshot who questioned authority and tried to showboat his way into the spotlight, only to have his personality tempered learning at the feet of people like Captain America, until he eventually evolved into an effectively leader in his own right (but still one who was way more relaxed and casual about things). And then he had a really hot wife for a while, until Steve Englehart decided he didn't like her, so he had her get raped by a ghost and they got divorced (Steve Englehart ruined a lot of comics in the late 80s). --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
