I almost got the Platinum trophy on Persona 5. I did two full playthroughs, the first on the hardest difficulty (...almost. I didn't realize Super Hard Mode was free DLC until after the second palace, I think?), but I made one stupid mistake on the second playthrough. I somehow missed one text message--which just so happened to unlock one specific mission, which would award you with one specific book.

No message=no mission=no book=impossible to get the "read all books" trophy. Requiring a third playthrough. It's my fault, but I'm still bitter.

This song got a lot of support at the most recent VGMC, but I never really got why. Last Surprise is obviously the best song in the game; Beneath the Mask is also a good choice, as it's very relaxing and I love the lyrics to it... not something I'd listen to often, but something that fills a very specific niche on my playlist, unlike every other song I listen to.

Rivers in the Desert isn't bad, but it's no Last Surprise. It has some nice lyrics, but I've just never been a fan of the chorus--the verses get me pumped up for a song about vengeance, with a bit of darkness ("I'm ready to strike him down now" isn't the most heroic line)... then as soon as she yells A RIVER IN A DRY LAND!!! I stop caring about the song entirely.

Then there's another verse and I start getting back into it again, only for the chorus to pull me out of it. The chorus is too happy and metaphorical to follow the more explicit vengeance lyrics from the verses. Still a good song, but I still don't get all the hype built up around it.

[FINAL NOTE: The fact that rivers in the desert is a biblical reference does absolutely nothing to help the song. And now things are getting really crowded in the DANGER ZONE!1!!
