It's much prettier than I would have expected for a metal song (is this even considered metal? I know they're a metal band--or some subgenre of metal anyway--, but this seems mostly too tame), but it feels like it's missing something... dunno what though.

I really should hate this. Too many drug references from someone who killed themselves with drugs... like, I doubt this song was super fun to listen to while he was alive, but now?

But... he does have a great voice and I find myself enjoying the song, in spite of...everything.

Too much walking shoes worn thin

Legitimately one of the best lines of any song in this contest.]
