I literally just had this problem this week (been using PS4 controller until recently). The issue might be the USB cord you are using. I had to go through 3 different cords before my PC would finally recognize the Dualsense. They are fully functional (The controller even lights up briefly when plugged in), but for whatever reason, Windows is very picky on what it will accept.
