As long as its given during natural disasters i have no issue but when its given to countries whose government uses it to build up their military thats when i say they dont deserve it also i find it funny in my country alone ie australia that whenever we have a natural disaster happen those we give money to are never to be found.

The aid is usually squandered and a good chunk is lost to corruption. More importantly, much of the aid doesn't improve the nations' long term prospects and you run the risk of creating dependency. Unless you fundamentally change the culture, anything you do will very often be completely useless. Without the right culture in place, even regional investment (which does a fuckload more than humanitarian aid) won't have a lasting impact.

Often a waste of money as all it does is encourage continued bad behavior. Private charities with specific causes may be better.

We need to take care of ourselves 1st before we need to worry about other countries. Before sending billions to another continent, let's use that money to improve our schools.
Give money to bail out other people? How about doing something with our own homeless.
I'd rather see funding for every SPCA or animal shelter in our nation before we spend a penny on another impoverished nations
