The heaviest you can handle is always best. If you can handle less when running then that's the heaviest you can handle when running.

I can understand ankle weights since humans don't have ape-like hand-feet, but what is the purpose of wrist weights?

I don't know. It seems like running in them would just over stress your joints. Might be good for yoga or physical therapy where you can't lift barbells and stuff.

I would ask what other exercise you do. There are lots more effective workouts which will put less stress on your joints.

When I exercise I do proper exericse, but when I'm gaming I was thinking of putting on some ankle weights so when I'm kicking ma little feets it helps a little --- "Salt cures Everything!" They're basically cross fit levels of bad for your joints. They don't do anything that working out properly wouldn't do better.

From what I read it's not that they don't work, but if you make them too heavy they might cause joint injury if you move too much.
