My view: Despite the Wii starting strong, unfortunately, the Wii "wins" this one. Disagree.

My $0.02¢ worth: This console was unfairly **** on. I will agree that the lack of decent fighting games and RPGs was frustrating and the sound quality on some games wasn''t all that but you could have a real blast on games like No Mercy, Mario Kart 64, Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.

It had plenty of great first party title with the only snubbed franchise being Metroid. Third party support wasn't stellar, but still put out some fantastic games.

Disagree. My disappointment in the N64 is nowhere near matched by the Gamecube. There are maybe 5 games worth playing that aren't compilations/remakes/ports.

I'll have to disagree with this. If the Virtual Boy counts, it's the one. If it does not count, I believe the Gamecube was the weakest of the home consoles.

NES has the nostalgia/iconic factor going for it, but TBQH my first game system was a genesis and the only NES games that are legitimately fun by today's standards are SMB3 and I guess RCR.
