I was a bit let down by RAW last night, but I don't think anything would have really fulfilled me at that point. The best part has been Punk's pictures from all over chicago and defending the title against Piston Honda. Dauntless Hunter 07/19/11 7:32:00 AM #460:	I used to love Rey Mysterio and he was easily my favorite superstar when I started watching wrestling again back in 2005. In fact if it weren't for his feud with Eddie that summer (ridiculous Dominick plot aside, they were in a ton of great matches) I don't know if I WOULD have gotten back into wrestling. I was just so amazed by his moves, even the 619, which were just so incredibly different from what I was used to, not having watched wrestling in over a decade, since before the Monday Night Wars began. I still LIKE him, but he's understandably lost a step over the years and the problem is he hasn't improved on the mic to make up for what he's lost in the ring. He still puts on great PPV matches, but he's usually terrible to watch on regular TV, and he hasn't had an interesting storyline in I don't even know how long. And making it worse is that lately he's been facing rising heel stars and killing them with his inability to cut a promo and how he practically never loses. He's gotten better about the whole constant winning thing since moving to Raw (in fact now he seems to lose most of the time), but he still can't talk. Also not a fan of the half-mask he's been wearing in recent years. I didn't mind it when he started wearing it during his feud with Kane a few years ago (the one where Kane had Mysterio's mask in that burlap sack, remember?), because I thought it was supposed to be like a takeoff on Kane's old mask but with a Mysterio face. JaKyL25 07/19/11 7:38:00 AM #461:	Yeah, I've seen the general sentiment that Raw overall was a letdown after last week and then MitB, but it's good that most people realize that it was a logical and productive next step. If Punk had actually been there, people would have complained, and rightfully so. If Cena was actually "fired," people would have crapped on it, and admittedly the track record for WWE supports that reaction. If Vince for some reason decided on his own not to fire Cena, people would have REALLY crapped on it. The tournament was fun and it made sense, and the twist at the end was a great way to get around the Cena stip without at all cheapening it. And now we have a week to discuss where WWE will go with Triple H at the helm. I honestly think they put on the best possible show they could have given this point in the storyline. Then he will interrupt the main event to say that he has seen enough and end the show then.
