XD now there are two fans in here who have watched their teams fail in the super bowl (and in swift's case, be on the receiving end of the worst ass beating in SB history)

it's 2 for revenus, and would be 4 if the refs hadn't saved them against the seahawks (stealers fans still in denial over this) and the cards (no less than 3 holds/clips on harrison's INT)

Tim I'd rather be a Giants fan. Recent success where they truly lifted the trophy, numerous HoF players on the past 2 decades, 3 of 4 is a terrific ratio, etc. You can't troll me until the Jets come out on top.

For one simple reason. The Giants have success. The Jets have nothing in your lifetime. NOTHING

the stealers had a better season than the jets last season by a microscopically small margin

their record was 1 game better (by virtue of a much easier division)

they advanced 1 additional round in the playoffs (but both teams won 2 playoff games - the jets won both on the road however)

the two teams went 1-1 against each other, with a combined score of 41 to 41

neither team won the super bowl

the difference is i didn't get hyped up for 2 weeks leading into the super bowl only to get let down

i did however, get to enjoy a highly successful jets season that left me plenty of hope and confidence for the future

on the flip side, the lions went 6-10

how is that comparable

There is, however, the small matter of the Steelers having six super bowl victories in total that the Jets can't touch.

how can you have the luck of the 10th anniversary of the biggest tragedy in US history fall on week 1 of an NFL season where the jets are playing the giants (approximate odds: 1 in 2309303033) and not take advantage of it
