I was on the Gamestop website a few minutes ago, and it seems they've got ads now. Not just videogame ads, though; the one I saw was for Axe bodyspray.

I just... why? When you're a retail store, you don't advertise stuff you don't sell.

You do if they pay you more money than you evaluate the advertisement for your own products will generate for you.

You also do when you're paid to advertise something that is in no way competition to your own product.

Unless you recently had to make a tough choice between Axe body spray and L.A. Noire or something.
